A 38-year-old woman has been charged with complicity in organized theft and criminal conspiracy over the €88m jewel heist at the Louvre last month, and was remanded in custody after appearing before a magistrate. Arrested with four others around Paris, she wept in court and confirmed she lives in La Courneuve. Two men previously detained have admitted involvement; a fourth suspect remains at large. Prosecutors say four robbers struck in minutes using a stolen lift and disc cutter. The jewels are missing; security has been tightened and valuables moved to the Bank of France.
