An early-morning explosion at a Harvard University medical building is under investigation after an arson team said it appeared intentional. A Harvard University Police officer responded to the Goldenson building at 2:48 a.m., saw two people fleeing, and tried to stop them before checking the alarm. Boston police found no additional devices, and no injuries were reported. The FBI is assisting as university police coordinate with local, state and federal partners. The incident comes amid a tense year and talks with the White House to restore federal funding and end ongoing lawsuits against the administration.
