Woman Shoots Man After Compton Store Threats

Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials say a woman fatally shot a man who groped a customer and threatened people inside a Compton store on Sunday. Deputies responded to a disturbance at a shopping center on the 1300 block of East Alondra Boulevard and found the man with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he followed and groped a woman, became aggressive, damaged merchandise, and appeared to brandish a knife while threatening to kill everyone. Another customer fired a warning shot, then a second shot when he turned toward her. Authorities seek witnesses.
