Masked Settlers Attack Olive Harvesters in West Bank

A 55-year-old Palestinian woman, Afaf Abu Alia, was hospitalized after a masked settler struck her with a wooden stick as she picked olives in Turmus Ayya, videoed by US journalist Jasper Nathaniel. He said she was knocked unconscious and hit again as she lay bleeding; doctors say she is now stable. The IDF said forces dispersed the confrontation and condemned settler violence, a claim Nathaniel disputes. The assault was part of a wider attack by at least 15 masked settlers, amid harvest-season violence that UN monitors say has injured more than 3,200 Palestinians in 2025.
