Trump calls Iran's response to peace proposal

President Donald Trump blasted Iran’s reply to a U.S. de-escalation proposal as "totally unacceptable," after Tehran, via Pakistani mediators, sent demands including lifting sanctions, ending port blockades, withdrawing U.S. forces, and halting hostilities such as Israel’s war in Lebanon, Iranian state media said. The exchange comes amid reports of fresh Gulf attacks and Iran’s warning it may abandon strategic restraint. In an interview aired Sunday, Trump said the U.S. is closely watching Iran’s enriched uranium and claimed Iran’s military is crippled, adding about 70% of U.S. targets have been destroyed and more strikes may follow.
