Local forecasts on Monday noted highs in the upper 60s to low 80s, gusty southwest winds of 20–35 MPH in coastal and interior areas, and rising humidity; officials and weather services advised the public to expect scattered storms midweek, possible gusty winds and downpours, and to monitor updates Wednesday and Thursday as the front progresses.
