Amsterdam-based cloud infrastructure provider Nebius announced on Thursday that it will increase pay-as-you-go pricing for selected Nvidia artificial intelligence chips by 17% to 21% starting October 1, marking its second price hike in three months. The adjustments reflect surging global demand for computing capacity required to train and deploy advanced artificial intelligence models. In addition to Nvidia graphics processing units, Nebius raised on-demand rates for central processing units from AMD and Intel by 25% and memory offerings by approximately 41%. Rival cloud provider CoreWeave reported similar contract price increases on the same day. Nebius noted that customers reserving large-scale multi-month clusters remain eligible for commitment discounts. The price increases follow a period of rapid financial growth for the neocloud firm, which recently secured four customer contracts averaging over one billion dollars each. High-powered hardware shortages continue driving costs upward across the specialized data center sector.
