McKesson Chief Technology Officer Francisco Fraga announced the intrusion affected an unnamed third-party application environment, prompting unauthorized data exfiltration. Unlike standard containment protocols that instantly disconnect entire networks, the corporation chose not to proactively sever core infrastructure systems.
