This increase, though below historic highs, reflects women seeking abortions through various means, including telehealth. Telehealth abortion appointments using pills now account for a quarter of all abortions, a significant rise since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. While the number of people crossing state lines for abortions decreased, anti-abortion efforts are increasingly targeting medication abortion access.
