Trump suggests the U.S. will resume testing nuclear weapons

In Busan, President Donald Trump said the U.S. would begin nuclear weapons testing “on an equal basis” with Russia and China, hinting at a policy shift but offering scant detail and later blurring missile and warhead tests. The White House and Pentagon gave no immediate answers. Amid Russia touting recent tests of nuclear-powered delivery systems, Trump said others were testing. China urged the U.S. to fulfill CTBT obligations and keep its commitment to suspend testing.
