Trump is getting a physical at Walter Reed

President Donald Trump visited Walter Reed on Friday for what he called a “semiannual physical,” a trip the White House billed as a routine yearly checkup despite his April exam. The Republican president, 79, took a short helicopter ride, said he feels “in great shape,” and planned to meet troops before returning to the White House. The visit comes as he prepares to travel to the Middle East after a ceasefire deal in the Israel-Hamas war. His April exam deemed him “fully fit”; in July, tests found chronic venous insufficiency after mild leg swelling.
