Jets legend Nick Mangold died Saturday night from complications of kidney disease, 12 days after revealing he needed a transplant. He was 41. A first-round pick in 2006, Mangold anchored New York's line for 11 seasons, earning two All-Pro nods, seven Pro Bowls, and helping the 2009 and 2010 teams reach the AFC Championship Game. Owner Woody Johnson, former coach Rex Ryan, and former teammate Damien Woody praised his toughness, wit, and leadership. Inducted into the Jets Ring of Honor in 2022, he is survived by his wife Jenny and four children.
