New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo was carted off midway through the second quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles after a gruesome dislocation of his right ankle. His foot twisted sharply when it was caught under a defender as he tried to catch a pass over the middle. He was ruled out and taken to a local hospital, the team said. Players recoiled at the sight; close friend and rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart shouted in frustration, while Philadelphia fans stood to applaud as Skattebo left. Earlier, Skattebo had scored his seventh touchdown on an 18-yard pass from Dart.
