North Carolina Man Charged After Children's Bodies Found

North Carolina officials charged Wellington Dickens III, 38, with murder after he called 911 and reported killing his children. Deputies found the bodies of three children and a stepchild in a car trunk in his Zebulon garage; a 3-year-old son was unharmed. Identified: Leah, 6; Zoe, 9; Wellington, 10; and Sean Brasfield, 18. Dickens appeared in court Tuesday and is held without bond as murder charges are sought. No motive or cause was released; officials said the remains had been there for a long period. Court records list May 1 as the offense date.
