COLUMBUS — Oakwood High School athletes won multiple events at the OHSAA state track meet this week, securing the Division III girls team championship on June 6 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Oakwood’s 4×800 relay set a Division III state record on June 5, and individual wins contributed to the team title. The victories included a 9:07.10 relay by Katherine Erwin, Riley Meador, Delaney Cahill and Kaya Asinjo, a 12-foot-10 pole vault by Mila Gelbart on June 6, and Cameron Lindsey’s Division III 3,200 win; Oakwood finished with 52 points, beating Ottawa-Glandorf by 11, and the results were recorded by meet officials.
