Ukraine has received the bodies of 1,212 soldiers from Russia in a prisoner exchange, facilitated by the Red Cross. This is part of a larger agreement to exchange up to 6,000 bodies from each side, alongside sick, wounded, and younger prisoners of war. The exchange follows accusations from Russia about Ukraine's delays, which Kyiv denied. This is not the first such exchange; numerous repatriations have already occurred during the conflict. The returned soldiers came from various regions of Ukraine.
