Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Junior sustained a right foot injury during the team preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings at Empower Field at Mile High. Mims exited the game on the opening possession after landing awkwardly while tracking a deep pass from quarterback Jarrett Stidham. He limped off the field under his own power, threw his helmet in frustration on the sideline, and headed to the locker room following a brief medical evaluation. Head coach Sean Payton later addressed media inquiries, confirming that Mims only suffered a minor bruise and is expected to recover fully ahead of the upcoming regular season opener. Mims previously missed portions of training camp due to a physical muscle issue, heightening initial fan concerns. The dynamic Pro Bowl return specialist is expected to maintain a key role for the Denver franchise when they face the Kansas City Chiefs in seasons opening week matchup.
