Fromm Family Foods has voluntarily recalled nearly six thousand cases of wet dog food across the United States and Canada following consumer complaints regarding potential metal contamination. The recall covers specific batches of Turkey Pate and Diner Classics Milos Meatloaf Pate in cans marked with a best by date of March twenty twenty nine. No injuries or illnesses have been officially reported by owners so far. However, ingesting sharp metal fragments poses severe health risks to dogs, including choking, gastrointestinal lacerations, vomiting, and dangerous intestinal obstructions. Consumers are strongly urged to immediately stop feeding these products, return them to retailers for refunds, and consult veterinarians if pets show symptoms. This safety action coincides with a separate pet food recall in the United Kingdom by Years, which pulled meals after reports of canine vision loss tied to ingredients. Regulatory investigations remain ongoing as companies review manufacturing protocols to ensure future consumer pet safety.
