Comedian Mike Newall has been hospitalized with a brain haemorrhage after becoming ill during a family holiday in Wales, according to reports published Aug. 22-23. Chortle said promoter Peter Vincent launched a fundraiser after Newall suffered the haemorrhage and is expected to be unable to work while recovering.
