Maui, Hawaii. Maui Now issued sequential surf forecasts on July 10 and July 11, 2026, reporting a declining small medium-period south-southwest swell on July 10 and a predicted small to moderate long-period southwest swell filling in late Saturday into early next week, with additional west swells expected from Typhoon Bavi in the far western Pacific. This week the forecasts indicate east-facing shores will remain choppy under fresh to strong northeast trades while north-facing shores stay flat; the July 11 weather update warned of breezy conditions, highs of 80–86°F, northeast winds 10–25 mph, and overnight rain chances rising to as much as 70–90 percent on some north-shore areas.
