Bridgeport, West Virginia: Meteorologists forecast scattered thunderstorms, damaging winds, and isolated hail across parts of West Virginia, the D.C. region, and Central Florida Wednesday afternoon into the evening. Forecasters reported showers this morning, midday breaks, and lines of storms forming west to east, with timing between early afternoon and after 2 p.m. in some locales. Mobile, Alabama reported a separate forecast calling for sustained dry, sunny conditions through the weekend with highs in the low-to-mid 80s and cooler nights late this week. Orlando forecasters cited a roughly 60% chance of scattered storms today, while Washington, D.C. meteorologists noted a low severe risk mainly west of the District after sunset.
