Mumbai Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Austrian businessman Peter Haag, the husband of Bollywood actor Celina Jaitly, following allegations of domestic violence and physical assault. Officers said the FIR was lodged after Haag allegedly failed to cooperate with initial police inquiries into a formal complaint that detailed instances of domestic abuse. The case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita dealing with assault and criminal intimidation, and investigators have begun collecting documents, medical records if any, and other material to support the complaint as part of the next phase of the probe.
