2027 Kia Telluride Trades V6 Power for Fuel Economy and Torque

Los Angeles, Kia unveiled the 2027 Telluride at the Los Angeles Auto Show, replacing its 3.8L V6 with a standard 2.5L turbocharged four‑cylinder and offering an optional 2.5L turbo hybrid. The turbo model produces 274 horsepower and 311 lb‑ft of torque; the hybrid system produces 329 hp and 339 lb‑ft with a 1.65‑kWh battery, Kia estimating 35 mpg combined and about 600 miles range. Kia also introduced the X‑Pro off‑road trim with 9.1 inches ground clearance and expanded interior space. The lineup will offer AWD, increased towing capacities, and new tech features.
