Biden blasts Trump in Omaha fundraiser speech | JQJO

At a Nebraska Democratic Party fundraiser in Omaha, former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. delivered his first overtly political speech since leaving office, denouncing President Trump and warning the nation is in a “very, very dark moment.” He accused Mr. Trump of worsening hunger, taking a “wrecking ball” to the White House and rule of law, and favoring the wealthy with tax breaks. Biden urged reopening the government, criticized cuts to cancer research and health care, and cited this week’s elections as a reason for optimism, while recalling his own cancer fight.
