Trump attacks Democrats as shutdown nears record | JQJO

President Trump, in his first 60 Minutes interview in five years, blamed Democrats for a month-old government shutdown nearing a record and offered no new plan on health care costs. Furloughed workers remain unpaid, active-duty troops work with delayed pay, and millions risk missing November food benefits. Trump said Republicans are voting to reopen while Democrats refuse, predicted they will relent, and rejected talks he described as “extortion.”
