European leaders and Ukraine’s allies issued a carefully worded warning to U.S. President Donald Trump, endorsing his call to stop fighting while rejecting any territorial concessions to Moscow. In a joint statement signed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and leaders including Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz, Emmanuel Macron, Giorgia Meloni and Ursula von der Leyen, they backed immediate talks using the current line of contact but stressed borders cannot be changed by force.
