Louisiana State Police have released new video footage that appears to contradict claims by the late LSU football player Kyren Lacy's lawyer. The video shows Lacy driving in the opposing lane at high speed before a fatal crash on December 17, 2024, which resulted in the death of 78-year-old Herman Hall. Police stated the evidence supports the conclusion that Lacy's "reckless operation" caused the incident. Lacy took his own life on April 12 while prosecutors investigated the crash.
