Ancient rock carvings of animals, some over six feet tall, have been discovered in the Saudi Arabian desert, dating back approximately 12,000 years. Created using rock tools, these detailed engravings suggest human habitation in the arid region 2,000 years earlier than previously believed. The discovery, aided by finding engraving tools beneath the carvings, sheds new light on early human communities and their ability to thrive in challenging environments.
