Argentine paleontologists have unearthed a new megaraptoran dinosaur species, *Joaquinraptor casali*, in Patagonia. This discovery, detailed in Nature Communications, represents one of the most complete megaraptoran skeletons found, offering insights into their evolution. The approximately 23-foot-long dinosaur, which lived 66-70 million years ago, had powerful claws and a unique bone structure. Fossil evidence suggests a diet potentially including ancient crocodiles, but its exact predatory role remains under investigation.
