Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has been removed as patron from four charities following the emergence of a 2011 email where she called Jeffrey Epstein a "supreme friend." Julia's House, the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, the Children's Literacy Charity, and Prevent Breast Cancer all cited the email as inappropriate. A spokesperson for the Duchess stated the email was sent to mitigate Epstein's threat to sue her for defamation. Another charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust, is reviewing its association with her. This action follows previous controversies surrounding the Duchess's and Prince Andrew's links to Epstein.
