His body was transported Thursday on Air Force Two, with Vice President JD Vance assisting in carrying the casket. The plane landed in Phoenix, Arizona, where Kirk resided with his family. Vance, a close friend, praised Kirk's contributions to the Trump administration and Turning Point USA. A suspect in the shooting remains unidentified.
