Paramount Global is launching Paramount Sports Entertainment, a new division headed by Jesse Sisgold, former Skydance Sports chairman. This division will produce scripted and unscripted sports programming for Paramount's platforms and third-party services, develop sports games, and collaborate with athletes, leagues, and brands. It will complement, but also collaborate with, the existing CBS Sports division. Paramount aims to capitalize on the growing demand for sports-related entertainment, encompassing docuseries, scripted shows, and interactive games, leveraging its acquisition of Skydance Sports.
