A Polish F-16 fighter pilot died in a crash during preparations for an airshow in Radom, Poland. The pilot, a member of the elite "Tiger Demo" team, didn't eject before the plane crashed and burst into flames. The airshow has been cancelled. The incident occurred during a practice run, and there were no other injuries. NATO allies, including Italy and Latvia, expressed condolences. Poland has been upgrading its F-16 fleet since 2003.
