With recent Falcon 9 milestones, SpaceX vindicates its “dumb” approach to reuse

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket achieved two significant milestones this week. Booster 1096, on its second launch, marked SpaceX's 400th successful drone ship landing during a Starlink mission. Separately, Booster 1067 completed its 30th flight, a record for a Falcon 9 booster, showcasing the success of SpaceX's reusable rocket technology. This demonstrates a decade of progress in reusable rocket technology, starting with a successful controlled landing in 2013, proving the viability of supersonic retropropulsion.
