Cancelled! Did Festival Censors Silence Pro-Palestine Artists? | JQJO

The Last Dinner Party canceled their Victorious Festival performance in solidarity with the Mary Wallopers, whose set was cut short after displaying a Palestinian flag and chanting "Free Palestine." Victorious Festival claimed the Mary Wallopers used a discriminatory chant, a claim the band denies. The Last Dinner Party condemned the censorship, highlighting the urgent need for artists to address the Palestinian crisis. Other artists have also shown support for Palestine at festivals this year, sparking controversy and debate.
