A drone attack in Sudan destroyed a UN convoy of 16 trucks carrying vital food aid to North Darfur, leaving 25 million facing acute hunger. All personnel are safe, but this is the second attack in three months targeting aid deliveries. The conflict between Sudan's military and paramilitary forces, ongoing since April 2023, has caused widespread displacement and death, with famine declared in several areas. The attackers remain unidentified, but the situation highlights the desperate humanitarian crisis.
