A devastating house fire in Waldorf, Maryland, claimed the lives of six people – two adults and four children – early Sunday morning. Nine people resided in the home; one adult escaped, and two were absent. The Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and other agencies responded to the 8:40 a.m. call. The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire's origin, but foul play is not suspected.
