Procter & Gamble replaces CEO Moeller with COO and long-time executive Jejurikar

Procter & Gamble (P&G) CEO Jon Moeller is stepping down after four years, to be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer Shailesh Jejurikar on January 1, 2026. Moeller will become executive chairman. P&G stated the transition is planned and orderly, with no health concerns cited. Jejurikar's appointment continues P&G's tradition of internal promotions. During Moeller's tenure, P&G navigated post-pandemic challenges, including inflation and supply chain issues, implementing cost-cutting measures including job reductions. Analysts view the change as a smooth transition.
