150 THAAD Ballistic Missile Interceptors Fired By U.S. During Iran's Barrages On Israel: Report

The U.S. Army reportedly fired over 150 THAAD interceptors during the 12-day Israel-Iran war, consuming nearly a quarter of its total inventory. Concerns also exist regarding the effectiveness of approximately 80 SM-3 interceptors used. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Pentagon is exploring options to replenish these stocks, highlighting worries about limited interceptor inventories and the U.S. military's ability to sustain munitions supplies during major conflicts. The Navy also faces challenges with at-sea reloading of SM-3 interceptors, adding to overall concerns.
