SpaceX Launches TRACERS Satellites, Sonic Boom Expected | JQJO

SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Tuesday at 11:13 a.m. The launch, carrying NASA's TRACERS satellites and several others, will be livestreamed. A sonic boom is expected around eight minutes after liftoff, potentially audible in nearby counties. The mission aims to study the solar wind's effect on Earth's magnetic field, improving understanding of phenomena like auroras and communication disruptions. A Wednesday backup launch is planned if Tuesday's attempt is scrubbed.
