A 54-pound Martian meteorite, the largest ever found on Earth, sold for $5.3 million at a New York auction. Discovered in the Sahara Desert, it's about 70% larger than the previous record holder and represents nearly 7% of all Martian material on Earth. The buyer remains anonymous. Separately, a juvenile dinosaur skeleton fetched $30.5 million at the same auction.
