Three aid workers were 'executed' during conflict, MSF official says

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has accused the Ethiopian army of executing three of its aid workers in Tigray in 2021. An MSF investigation, including eyewitness accounts and satellite imagery, alleges that Ethiopian troops were present and directly involved in the killings of a Spanish national and two Ethiopians. The charity states that despite numerous meetings, the Ethiopian government hasn't provided a credible explanation for the deaths. The killings occurred during an intensification of the Tigray conflict, where aid workers faced increasing hostility.
