Ukraine and Russia engaged in a large-scale drone war on Sunday. Hundreds of drones were launched by both sides, causing widespread disruption to Russian air travel, particularly in Moscow and St. Petersburg, with numerous flight delays and cancellations. Russia's defense ministry reported shooting down over 150 Ukrainian drones. Simultaneously, Ukraine announced deals with Western partners to significantly increase its drone production capacity. The attacks follow a recent large-scale Russian missile and drone assault on Kyiv. Casualties were reported on both sides.
