Leaker Majin Bu shared an image suggesting Apple's iPhone 17 Pro models will feature vapor chamber cooling. This advanced system, already used in gaming laptops and high-end Android phones, offers superior heat dissipation compared to the current graphite sheet method. The need arises from the anticipated heat generated by the powerful A19 Pro chip, especially during AI tasks. Apple may also use lighter materials in the chassis to aid cooling. The leaked image shows a copper base plate with micro-perforated patterns, typical of vapor chamber technology.
