A British national, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, survived an Air India plane crash in India that killed at least 200 people. Ramesh, seated in 11A, reported hearing a loud noise shortly after takeoff before the Boeing 787-8 crashed. He is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment. The flight, bound for Gatwick Airport, had passengers from several countries, including 169 Indians and 53 Britons.
