Royals Call Up Top Prospect Caglianone | JQJO

Top Royals prospect Jac Caglianone is getting called up to the majors on Tuesday. The 22-year-old, drafted sixth overall in 2024, boasts impressive minor league numbers (.323/.391/.600 slash line) despite only recently playing in his 12th Triple-A game. His promotion addresses the Royals' significant offensive struggles, particularly in the outfield. While some believe the call-up is premature, Caglianone's power hitting and versatility (first base, right field, DH) make him a valuable asset to a team in need of a spark. His quick promotion also potentially impacts his service time and future contract negotiations.
