Major upsets rocked the 2025 NCAA baseball tournament as six of the top eight national seeds were eliminated on day three. No. 1 Vanderbilt lost to No. 4 Wright State, No. 2 Texas fell to UTSA twice, No. 1 Georgia was defeated by No. 3 Oklahoma State, and No. 1 Clemson lost to No. 3 Kentucky. This marks the second time in history that both the No. 1 and No. 2 national seeds failed to reach the Super Regionals. Only Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Coastal Carolina, and UCLA from the top seeds remain.
