Knapp's Shutout Performance Propels UNC | JQJO

UNC pitcher Jake Knapp pitched 8 ⅓ shutout innings against Holy Cross, the longest NCAA postseason outing by a Tar Heel pitcher since 2013. He nearly completed a nine-inning game but was pulled after allowing a single in the ninth. Knapp's performance, despite not having his best velocity, helped UNC advance in the Chapel Hill regional. His previous regional experience helped him manage emotions and perform under pressure, showcasing his resilience and determination.
