The Israeli military announced a targeted strike in southern Lebanon, eliminating Hezbollah rocket array commander Mohammad Ali Jamoul. The IDF statement cited Jamoul's involvement in attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, and efforts to rebuild Hezbollah's infrastructure. The strike occurred in Deir ez-Zahrani, approximately 40 kilometers north of the border, during the pre-dawn hours. The IDF claims Jamoul violated the ceasefire agreement.
