Russian hackers target firms shipping aid to Ukraine, US intelligence says

The NSA revealed that Russian military intelligence hackers, known as "Fancy Bear," targeted Western companies involved in supplying aid to Ukraine. The hackers aimed to gather intelligence on aid shipments by accessing internet-connected cameras near border crossings and exploiting vulnerabilities in smaller networks. The campaign, spanning 2022, targeted over 10,000 cameras across several countries, including Ukraine, Romania, and Poland. The NSA, FBI, and allied agencies issued a joint report urging companies to enhance security measures to counter similar future attacks.
